Persistence Of Vision

This is an example of persistence of vision. Persistence of vision is an optical illusion with multiple still images blending together tricking the mind that it is a short video when the images are been played back very fast.

  1. Jordan - don't forget persistence of vision applies to video and film and not just animation. The example you have included is based on colour memory rather than persistence of vision and I would recommend replacing it with a different example.
